Give alms knowing the recipient.

Give alms knowing the recipient.

There was a time when I was plowing in agony.  My party (Punk Rock) saw me and gave me £10, asking me to buy some oil.

As I was walking to the store to buy oil, I saw a woman playing the flute and performing magic to beg for money. She finished her performance and asked me to put the money in her begging bowl. I don't know why, but I felt pity and put the £10 given by my party into her begging bowl. After that, I couldn't go to my party.
Because I gave the £10 my party gave to the Piper.  I was left in the middle of the street.

It's mentioned in U2 - miracle of joy ramone song. she (eye) got so many things she don't deserve.

After that, the only way to reach my party was by taking a very difficult path, as mentioned in the U2 song 'This is Where You Can Reach Me Now', which says that taking the path of more resistance only way for us to go home.

Now I have reached  Me. and I got my name Sivaruban. (see my future blog post called "The More than Worth of Man. it's Me")

Me who standing in the middle of the street, and the dog who got alms from me and chasesing me. Let's look at an interesting story to explain this.

The Bhasmasura who placed his hand on the head of the one who granted the boon - A Puranic story

Bhasmasura, a demon, performed severe penance towards Lord Shiva. Pleased with Bhasmasura's penance, Lord Shiva appeared before him. Bhasmasura asked for a boon that whoever he placed his hand on would turn to ashes. Lord Shiva granted him the boon. But Bhasmasura doubted whether Lord Shiva's boon was true. To test his doubt, Bhasmasura tried to place his hand on Lord Shiva's head itself.

Lord Shiva's position in the story of Bhasmasura, who placed his hand on the head of the boon giver above, became my position.

I'm standing in the middle of the street, and the dog I gave alms to has been incessantly chasing me from 2015 till today. I took the most difficult path, as my party said (like in the U2 song 'This is Where You Can Reach Me Now'), and travelled
through the path of more resistance, the only way for us to go, and finally reached my party.

However, the dog I gave alms to doesn't seem to let me go. The money my party paid me for my suffering. The dog is compelling me to give it as alms again.

The cruelty is that the dog, which I once gave alms to, has now become wealthy and influential with the money. And it's using that against me. Prevents me from going to my home in many ways.

This is a Tamil proverb that emphasizes the importance of knowing the character or worthiness of the person before giving them alms.

That means everyone will suffer because of the things given to the undeserving.
