Let's look at the meaning of the song "U2's song for someone".
This song was sung in 2015 when I was working the night shift at a petrol station at Shawbirch Service Station, Telford TF5 0AD, UK, for a girl (ghost of love) who would come there in the middle of the night.

I have some scars from where I've been.
To illustrate this I must elaborate on an incident that happened one night.
The girl (I don't know her name yet) used to come over for coffee in the middle of the night every day in the early days. And in the later days, she came for coffee some days when I was working night shifts.
I didn't think much of her at first.
After a few days, l had an attraction with her that I didn't even know was a love with her that.
One night when the girl was coming to me to pay for coffee as usual, suddenly another man (look like english or european) came in and stood next to my cash counter. His face was without any scars like those carved in wax.
Then the girl (Taylor swift) said to me, "Your face is completely unattractive with scars. Your face should be like this one" pointing to the man standing next to my cash counter.
I was in unbearable pain that whole night. There are no words to describe it.
But I was not angry with that girl at all.
I reflected on myself and was filled with remorse.
This is my answer for her for that event "You've got a face not spoiled by beauty. I have some scars from where I've been."
It means that your face is so beautiful. If you put makeup on it (beauty parlour ), it will spoil your natural facial beauty.
It means you have a beautiful face that doesn't need makeup.
I have some scars from where I've been.
But my face is not like yours I have scars on my face from my birth place (Sri Lanka Home).
You got eyes that can see right through me.
(means got now)
it means,
You can also see the world through the same view As I see the world through my eyes.
You're not afraid of anything they've seen.
You are not afraid of any sight or anything that other people see you. This means you are not afraid of whatever gender you are. (no need to fear anymore)
I was told that that I would feel nothing the first time.
This was, I told to one of my colleagues at my workplace. It must have reached her ears.
I didn't know how those cuts heal.
But, in you I found a right.
The cut I made in your soul. I don't know how to heal. Later I learned that it was caused by God.
I would feel nothing the first time.
As the above line says, at first glance I don't feel anything, which is another song by U2 called "life begins with first glance." All this is happening based on that song. I didn't feel anything at first glance.
And as you said, I don't have a flawless face.
If there is a light, you can always see.
This is a tall Petrol Pump Price Display light unit that shows the fuel price with the logo of that petrol station.
And there is a word, we can always be.
This line represents the imaginary fake world created around us by some ruling class for their benefit.
If there is a dark, that we shouldn't doubt.
You belong to a family like LGBTQ by nature, so if there is a darkness, we should not doubt it.
It does not mean that we are less than others.
We have every right to live freely like everyone else.
And there is a light. don't let it go out.
And that means don't let that gas station light go out. The Lord tells her to take own the petrol station.
And this is a song for someone.
This is the song for her (Taylor Swift.)
You let me in to a conversation.
For many nights and sometimes during the day she (Taylor Swift) came but only for one day had a conversation between us. I wished to talk to her for days but I couldn't.
To explain this further, just assume how Rajini struggles while talking to Soundarya in the film Padayappa. It same like that.
A conversation only we could make.
What was thet conversation is, she asked for a alcohol drink and I asked her how old she was. She replied "18".
after she replied to my question. she paid by her debit card. but, It didn't work. If it works, a receipt label will come from the card reader machine. i aked her to try again to pay. so, she tried to pay again. while she tried to pay again she asked me "wouldn't the card reader machine work?".
I replied "believe me it will printing". And the debit machine work and print the label (receipt). I gave the receipt to her.
There's also a fascinating reason for that answer. She would be alone on the night she'd arrive, alone with me only the radio playing songs in the mid night. Those nighttime songs and she had intertwined in my memory. Also, since I didn't know her name, And she and the night radio songs remember me the singer Taylor Swift. I started calling her myself Taylor Swift."
I used to refer to her as Taylor Swift when talking about her to my colleagues.
Taylor Swift's production and distribution company is called 'Big Machine Label Group'. In reference to that, my answer was 'Believe me, it will be printing', implying 'label printing'.
Initially, the card reader machine was not working, but when she said she was 18, it started working and printed the label (receipt). When she said she was 18, my response was "believe me, it will print." The meaning was not that she was actually 18, but that she would sing when she turned 18. God made me understand that she had lied.
At first, the card reader machine didn't work. Her response was that she was 18. My reply was "believe me, it will print". All these happened naturally without me realizing it. Later, my inner mind made me understand the meaning behind them. God makes me understand many things in this way.
You're breaking into my imagination.
I was taken aback for a moment. Why? Because at that time, I didn't know about U2's songs. "I was born again to the latest sound", but I wasn't aware of that either. Based on U2's song those events are happened. How I came to know about U2's songs will be discussed in another post.
I thought she was over 20 years old. The reason I was taken aback was that she was very young. I thought My age and character traits were not suitable for her. My conscience disagreed with me.
Then shell petrol station went and a new petrol station called Apple Green came there. All the old employees who worked there except myself and one other colleague named Kurdip are gone.
I don't know whether it is true or false, Kurdip (old colleague) told me that they are going to make you the owner of this petrol station. I did not ask who was going to make me the owner of the petrol station.
After new petrol station apple green arrived she (Taylor Swift) didn't come there.
I understand well that another girl is going to be my partner. My only regret was that Taylor Swift didn't get anything from me. A young boy (a new employee) came to work there at night. I thought Taylor Swift might get the chance to get to the petrol station if I quit. That's the top line. And it is mentioned by the Lord that the petrol station should go to her.
Whatever's in there It's yours to take.
At that time, the Shell petrol station had bought by new petrol bunk called Apple Green. Everyone who worked there had left except for me and another colleague named Kurthip. I don't know if it's true or not, but Kurthip told me that I was going to be made the owner of the petrol bunk. I didn't ask who was going to make me the owner. After the new petrol bunk 'Apple Green' was built she stopped coming for coffee there.
I understood well that another woman was going to be my partner. My only regret was that Taylor Swift didn't get anything from me. There was a young boy(a new employee ) who came to work at night at the petrol bunk. I thought that if I left the petrol bunk, Taylor Swift might have a chance to get the petrol bunk. That's the line above. Moreover, it was destined by God that it should go to her.
I was told I'd feel nothing the first time.
As mentioned before I didn't feel anything the first time.
You were slow to heal.
Represents wounds cut into your (Taylor Swift) soul.
But, this could be the night.
Her soul is a ghost so she doesn't need daylight. They heal at night.
One thing to note here.
Lord mentioned in another song " sleep like a baby tonight" by U2 "Where there's no daylight, There's no healing." That is referring to ordinary people who has aura souls.
But her soul is made of spirit (goest). And since she is naturally a cold-blooded woman belonging to a category like LGBTQ, she mentions that she might heal during the nighttime.
If there is a light. You can always see.

Here, I mention cavalry because some days, I would walk from Shawbirch service station via Shawbirch road (B4394) after finishing night work. While walking (going), some horses would stop in a field on the right side of the path. To keep them warm, a blanket would be wrapped around them.
They appeared similar to war horses heading into battle. Every time I saw them, the image of a cavalry regiment would flash into my memory. However, I've been unable to pinpoint the exact location on Google Maps."

I am today means India where I am now. My home in Sri Lanka is where I should be.
